Following a long career as an art director and graphic designer, Jeffrey Starkes is now an emerging abstract artist working primarily in oils. His work often employs a bold, unconventional color palette, and is characterized by an arrangement of layered, overlapping, transparent shapes. Mr. Starkes was born in 1950, and lives and works in West Haven, Connecticut, USA.
